SYLVESTER STALLONE IS OLD

Brace yourselves peopel: ‘Rocky VI’ has been given the green light and will begin filming in December. The film will be called ‘Rocky Balboa’ and will feature 59-year-old Sly Stallone reprising his role as the unintelligible titular character. While still in fine shape for a dwarf his age, this picture of Stallone with his old-manish veins extending from his neck like a virus gives me nightmares.

Despite ‘Rocky V’ only netting $40 million in box office revenue, Stallone thinks that ‘Rocky’ still has something to offer.

“‘Rocky Balboa’ is about everybody who feels they want to participate in the race of life, rather than be a bystander,” Stallone said in a statement. “You’re never too old to climb a mountain, if that’s your desire.”

I have about as much interest in seeing another Rocky movie as I do in seeing an elephant make love to a pig. Actually that’s something I do want to see, so I guess that was a crummy analogy.
